The European Water Association was formally established in 1981 under the name of European Water Pollution Control Association – EWPCA .
As a major and influential European organisation representing water professionals through their National Associations, EWA promotes the sustainable management of the total water cycle for Society’s needs coupled with excellent service provided by informed and expert people.

The EWA offers two ways of membership, the National Membership and the Partner Membership. Individual membership is not possible. A complete list of all members of the EWA, including links.

These were the words of the EWA-President, Professor Pertti Seuna at the “Open Days” in Brussels.
