EWA awards the Honorary Membership to individuals, who have done a remarkable job in the European water sector.

Honorary Member 2023
On May 12th, during the Council Meeting in Antwerp, Professor José Saldanha Matos (PT) received the Honorary Membership of the EWA.
Professor Matos has been involved at the EWA for many years.
He has been a member of the Council since 2006, initiated during his presidency (among other) the research membership and successfully developed it.
Congratulations to him for an outstanding job and his support over the years!
