EWA launches series of online activities in support of WoldSkills #55: ‘Water Technology’.

To help share the knowledge of WorldSkills and help interested European countries and other interested partners prepare for the upcoming WoldSkills events, EWA now launches a series of 12 online activities for support. This is the 1st online event in the series.

Objectives

The attendants will gain a deeper understanding of the Skill #55 “Water Technology” at Worldskills International competition: They will receive background information on how skill #55 was developed and which benefits the competitor and the country of the competitor can expect to gain by participating in the WorldSkills. Finally, the attendants will receive practical information on how to join the WorldSkills competition and how to prepare.

  • Hubert Romer, CEO of Worldskills, Worldskills Germany: ‘Explaining the Worldskills Structure, History and the Benefits for Young People and the Countries’
  • Rüdiger Heidebrecht, Head of Department Training in the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA): ‘How has skill #55 ‘Water Technology’ been developed since 2013?’
  • Rodrigo Augusto Franco de Oliveira Zawadzki, Skill #55 Manager, WorldSkills Brazil: ‘The Tasks for the Participants’

Moderator:

  • Rüdiger Heidebrecht, Head of Department Training in the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA)

Target group

Everybody who wants to know more about the new global Worldskills movement in water training, Human Resource Officers, Trainers in the Water Sectors, CEO’s in water utilities, possible sponsor organisations.
