EWA-Innovation Webinar: New Opportunities and Challenges for Waste Water Reuse

As a part of the technical program of IFAT Munich 2022 the European Water Association EWA launches its web seminar digitally under the theme “New Opportunities and Challenges for waste water reuse”.
Reuse of treated waste water gets a more and more important impact due to climate change.
The European Regulation on minimum requirements for water reuse for agricultural irrigation has entered into force in June 2020. These new rules will apply from 26 June 2023 and are expected to stimulate and facilitate water reuse for the agricultural irrigation as well as for other purposes within the whole European Union.
In advance to IFAT Munich 2022 this online web-seminar highlights innovative solutions of water reuse opportunities, challenges and the new water reuse legislation in Europe. All the necessary installations for water reuse can be peered at IFAT Munich 2022.
Prof. Jiri Wanner from the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague, Czech Republic, is a well known expert in wastewater technologies and will moderate the EWA-webinar.
