RIVER BASINS 2015

RIVER BASINS is a biannual scientific conference held this time at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The conference (former "Karlsruher Flussgebietstage") provides a platform for the scientific exchange of all aspects regarding river basin management. This includes the quantification of water and mass fluxes as well as processes in rivers and ecological issues.

RIVER BASINS 2015 is hosted by the KIT and organized in cooperation with:

  • Deltares, Netherlands
  • the Environment Agency Austria (UBA-Vienna)
  • the Federal Environment Agency, Germany (UBA-Dessau)
  • the Federal Institute of Hydrology, Germany (BFG)

The forthcoming meeting will focus on Monitoring, Modelling and Management of Pollutants.

The event is divided into three blocks "Inputs" - "Storage and Release" - "Fate and Impacts".
